Raksha was founded by Mr. Nalin S Sanghvi, in the 1980s, and was taken over by his son, Mr. Paresh Sanghvi, who contributed to strengthening the company’s unparalleled growth over the years. Subsequently, in the due course of time, the mantle has passed on to his son, Mr. Timir Sanghvi who is heading business development and operations as Director of Raksha Hospitality Private Ltd. Thus, the foundations of Raksha Hospitality are firmly entrenched in decades of service, with a collective passion of the entire team, for ensuring customer delight by providing a wholesome event experience.

The current leadership team at Raksha is comprised of Mr. Timir Sanghvi, Director and Mrs. Avani Sanghvi, Director, the husband-wife duo who share a great camaraderie and a unified vision to make Raksha Hospitality reach bigger heights than ever before!

Timir has received training in trading and was poised for a career in stockbroking, however, his passion for curating to authentic cuisines and bespoke experiences, compelled him to join his father in bolstering the family business, and he never looked back! He has received his graduate degree from Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai. He is a travel and food enthusiast and loves following the story of Chef Gordon Ramsay. On his off time, he loves to unwind by listening to his favorite music albums. His work philosophy revolves around the fact that successful events stem from the triad of creative planning, attention to details, ability to connect to the customer’s vision and a quest to implement these perfectly so as to ensure customer delight!

Avani Sanghvi serves as the creative head of Raksha Hospitality. A qualified MBA, she stands at the helm of the firm with her tenacity to conceptualize and create magical experiences. She is a mother of one and loves to cook, in fact, she is considered as one of the best self-trained chefs with decades of culinary expertise. This helps her in supervising the operations and creating event flow and vision boards in a collaborative approach with the customers during the initial consultation meets.
